Meet Our Leadership Team.

Adult and two children paddling a yellow canoe

Our team’s passion and care are the guiding forces to Woodfield’s expansion across Canada.

Michael Bradley,
Founder and Director

Affectionately known as Farmer Mike, a Father of four beautiful adult children is passionate about nature’s health benefits and its ability to help people connect to themselves and their families. When faced with his own healing journey he embraced what he knew deep inside. That nature and connection to oneself and family can be truly healing. “Exploring my own pathway to health, wholeness, and joy in nature, was the seed that inspired me to create Woodfield Nature Camps so other families would have the same opportunity I was blessed to have.” The journey from serious illness, even though frightening and challenging, offers us an opportunity for deep healing as we journey towards health, wholeness and joy.

Angie Pell,
Program Director

Born and raised in Southern Ontario in the mid 70’s, on a small rural farm, Angee would often seek solace in her family;s barn with the animals that lived there. This was her sanctuary, and it is here that she developed her early ability to make deep connections and communicate with animals. Human friends soon became outnumbered by four-legged creatures in Angee’s life, who sees all animals as friends, teachers and guides. Angee Pell is the founder and creator of Sky River Meadows (SRM), a Therapeutic Animal Farm tucked away in Muskoka, Ontario located on the beautiful grounds of the Woodfield True Nature Campus. If you’re a Muskoka local, you may know Angee by the moniker “Goat Lady” and if you look closely enough, you will see that Pell sports the same government mandated herd-letter tattoos in her ears asher herd.

Ask her why and she will tell you that it is a tribute to the herd; a symbol of union and kinshipwith the animals. In 2013, Pell earned her B.A.(Hons) Child and Family Studies from Nipissing University at the Muskoka Campus before beginning her journey into the FEEL Approach. Pell earned her FEEL Certification in 2018, and completed the Advanced FEEL Certification in 2019, bringing the wisdom and teachings of the horses to her Muskoka community. SRM is a place that has been created to allow both people and animals to come together safely to learn, connect and heal. SRM is one of the dedicated and passionate partners at the Woodfield True Nature Campus.
