What Our Families Are Saying.

We have a 5-year-old with severe cognitive and physical disabilities. That makes travelling anywhere with him very challenging - except Woodfield. It is the perfect scenario for time away from home. We can bring all of his equipment with us. We can enjoy nature between taking care of his needs. Everything can be done with the rest of our family at a pace that accommodates our son.

The week at Woodfield will be a family memory for the rest of our lives. My children and I were able to take time away from the everyday, medical appointments, work schedules and really bond and share the beauty of Woodfield and the moments we were able to have.

We were able to put a stop to the "fight or flight" response that we had reactively fallen into, since our surprise journey arose. We leave Woodfield with a renewed sense of energy to live life with intention and enjoy all the moments that life brings.

Everything is amazing about this place! Our family was fortunate to be able to stay there and enjoy nature at its best! The Woodfield family and staff are all so nice and warm, and we felt very welcomed during our stay. It’s a magical place for the kids. All the activities, the goat walk, the golf cart to drive around the farm... My kid didn’t want to come home when we needed to leave. Hahaha!!

This place is absolutely incredible! The highlights of the week were the goat walk (my daughter STILL talks about it to this day), the drum circle, and the community campfire. It was all so fun and magical! But I think the biggest highlights were the evenings spent with my family playing games, disconnecting from devices, and reconnecting with each other. We filled our cabin with so much laughter and love…memories I will never forget!
