Our mission.

Our Story.
In 2008, when diagnosed with a serious illness, our founder, Michael Bradley, embraced his healing journey with what he knew deep inside—that being in nature is healthy, relaxing, and restorative. Mike's journey of being in nature while connecting with friends, family, and himself, as he explored pathways to wholeness and joy, was the seed that inspired him to create Woodfield Nature Camps.

Our vision.

Family Camp Program.
Woodfield exclusively hosts family camps that are supported by our partner charity, Ronald McDonald House - SCO. Since 2017, we’ve hosted a 6 day family camp program for 18 weeks each year. The families that stay with us have often endured weeks or months in hospitals, caring for children with various illnesses. Our program allows them to escape the stark medical settings and come together in nature—a place where they can begin their emotional healing journeys.
Over the course of the 6 days, families have the option to participate in a range of activities and programs focused on health, wellness, and familial bonding. From yoga, breathwork, and drum circles, to nature walks with a pack of trained therapy goats—families leave Woodfield feeling rejuvenated, connected, and full of a newfound lightness.
